Donation Policy
Mahandana Social Welfare Foundation
1. Gift Acceptance Rules
Mahandana Social Welfare Foundation accepts voluntary contributions in Indian Rupees (INR) from Indian citizens, NRI cards, and local corporates. All donations must be sourced from legitimate incomes. We reserve the right to refuse or return donations that appear to be sourced from illegal or unauthorized routes.
2. Allocation of Funds
HelpBank operates on a **Direct Disbursement Model**. Donations received for specific campaigns are allocated directly to pay hospital bills, buy vocational toolkits, or install solar pump structures. If a campaign becomes overfunded or the beneficiary recovers before funds are fully utilized, the remaining balance will be redirected to the "General Welfare Fund" to support other emergency cases.
3. Foreign Contributions (FCRA)
Currently, Mahandana Social Welfare Foundation accepts local domestic donations and corporate CSR packages. We **cannot accept direct international wire transfers** from foreign citizens who do not possess an Indian PAN card/passport, in compliance with foreign contribution regulatory laws.
4. Anonymity Preference
Donors have the right to request anonymity. If you tick the "Make my donation anonymous" option on checkout, your name and profile will be hidden from public logs on the HelpBank website. However, for tax filing and audit compliance, your full details must be logged on our secure admin database.
5. 80G Tax Exemption Receipts
Donation receipts are generated dynamically. Under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, tax deductions will be sent to the donor\'s registered email in January following the end of the tax financial year.
